In an interesting turn of events, November really saw Sony's PS3, well...I know this sounds crazy, beating out Nintendo... OMG

"Overseas, I don't really see the PS3 doing that much at Christmas time primarily because it's still more expensive than the other machines and has less software."

Sony told the media that sales of PlayStation 3 have tripled in the U.S. thanks to Black Friday sales, though early reports from Microsoft and Nintendo have placed sales of the two other consoles above that of the PS3.

Heck they're just pissed that the Wii and 360 are owning the PS3. They can't keep the trend going though, I'm sure of that.

the PS3 suffered the same fate as the original X Box. They came out of the gate way to late no they are playing catch up with Nintendo and Microsoft.
Which is hard to do when the Wii is pretty much one of the most original consoles to come out ever, and the X Box has games 1 generation ahead of Sony.

Sony Released the PS3 in Japan on November 11,2006 and on November 17, 2006 in the US.

The Nintendo Wii had its world wide release on November 14, 2006.

While yes technically your right.....FOR ME the Wii was released 3 days before the PS3.

Also I forgot to mention the BS shortages Sony created to hype the PS3 even more didn't help it any either.

wow if I didn't know any better I would say your taking this personally.....

and 30-40 units per store on a release date when there was no need to is called creating a shortage.

Nintendo did the smart thing and told people in advance they might not be getting their console on the release date. Sony just took it upon them selves and decided to reduce the number of units shipped.

Personally? Personally I don't have any next gen system, and probably won't until square releases Final fantasy 13. That would be a deal breaker to by the PS3. I would like to get a Wii, but I'm not going to get it to only play the new Zelda and I'm not going to get a 360 when the only game I would get is Halo. I just am trying to keep misinformation from getting out.

The PS3 is faring pretty well right now. I give credit to Sony, they finally are releasing good games. That video is outdated Some Guy.

Uncharted makes all other console games look BAAAD. Naughty Dog > All?
